Kobayashi Ei is a big fan of Kodama Himegami. He together with Yamada Shiisuke and Tanaka Biyou appeared briefly to stop Kodama when she was about to look at Takeru Ohyama's chest to see if she had found the mark that she first saw when they had first met. They succeeded in doing so, claiming that they won't allow her to pollute her body. However, Kodama used her shikagamis to throw them into a nearby lake.
